Terms & Conditions

Please refer to the rate plan policy you have chosen. All bookings are paid upon reservation created. Non refundable reservations are at a cheaper rate as no amendments or cancellations are allowable. Flexible rates have a 24 hour cancellation policy where any amendments or cancellations must be done 24 hours prior to your arrival date in which if applicable, the reservation amount will be refunded to the card on file. 
A 2.5% surcharge is applicable on all card transactions, including contactless pay by link. 
Pricing is subject to change without prior notice & special events/dates may include minimum stay restrictions
Guests must be 18+ years of age to stay. 
Arrivals & Departures
Check-In is from 2pm daily. 
Departing guests must remove all their belongings from their room, and check out, by 10am. Check out late fees may apply if not checked out by 10am . At this time, all possessions must be removed from the dorm/room.
We provide complimentary luggage storage for your day of arrival and departure only.

Check-in
On the day of check in, guests will receive a digital registration form to complete in order to receive access to the building. International passports or valid ID must be uploaded. Check in instructions will be sent out via email/sms from 1pm on the day of arrival.
Accommodation must be paid in full upon arrival (if not prior).
After check-in your tariff is non-refundable if your stay is cut short.
Management reserves the right to cancel any booking deemed failed to meet registration requirements

Check Out
Check out is at 10am. If you check out late, you will be charged $10 per hour for each hour until check out is complete. 


Payments & Credit Card Transactions
The credit card used to make a reservation must match the cardholder checking in. To cover our banking transaction fees, a surcharge of 2.5% will applied to all card transactions, including contactless transactions.

Room allocations
Guests must not exceed room capacity. There will be a $250 charge to the cardholder for unregistered guests found.


Age Restrictions
We are strictly an 18+ hostel and bookings cannot be accepted for any person under the age of 18. Unlike some hostels we do not have an upper age limit. Most of our guests are backpackers in the 18 to 30 age range. Please be aware that you may be in a top bunk.

24-hour Cancellation policy and No-Shows
Palms on Parker has a 48 hour cancellation period. If you have a reservation & fail to show, the reservation will not be refunded

Guest Behaviour
The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of paramount importance to us. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be requested to leave the hostel premises and will not be offered a refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, local residents and property. Misconduct & excessive noise can result in in charges. 
Excessive noise will not be tolerated past 10pm & no cooking is to be done past 10pm. Fines will be imposed.
In the case of groups, the group leaders must ensure that all members of their group behave in an acceptable manor. Failure of any individual group member to do so will result in the expulsion of the whole group.

No Smoking / Vaping
Smoking & Vaping is not permitted anywhere in the building. Any guest found smoking or vaping in the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund. In the event that the Fire Alarm is set off you will be liable for the $2500 call out fee.

Fire Equipment (Regulations)
Tampering with Fire Equipment is a serious offence in Australia. Any guest found tampering with detectors, alarms or fire extinguishers will be liable for any fines and/or repairs as a result of the offense. In addition to this you will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund. In the event that the fire alarm is set off you will be liable for a $2500 call out fee.

No Drugs – Including NOS Canisters (Nangs)
Drug use is illegal in Australia. Any guest found using drugs within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund.
Use of NOS Canisters (Nangs) will result in your eviction from our property.

Alcohol consumption
Excessive alcohol is not permitted onsite. Any person found to be drunk & disorderly will be asked to leave the premises without refund. 

Personal Property
Each room is fitted with a security lock. You are responsible for keeping your items within your room.

Damage to Palms on Parker - property 
Guests will be expected to reimburse Palms on Parker for any damage caused by inappropriate behavior during their stay.

Liability
Except in relation to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, Palms On Parker liability remains, at all times, limited to the value of the services booked, excluding any amendment charges paid to us. Palms on Parker accepts no responsibility for injury caused by reckless behaviour.

Your Information
Palms on Parker shall only store and use information you supply to us or which is supplied to us for the purposes of carrying out our contract with you, and to inform you of other services and offers which we make available from time to time. If you do not wish to receive such information, please let us know via email.

Errors and Omissions
Any omission or error in sales literature, web pages or site, order form, quotation, price list, order acknowledgement, dispatch note, invoice or other documents issued by us may be corrected by us without liability. We will advise you of any changes at the time of booking or as soon as is reasonably possible thereafter.

Discretion
All bookings are subject to availability and Palms on Parkers reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

Christmas & New Years – Special Conditions
Event rates & minimum stays apply for this period and are strictly non refundable.
